PPCTS introduces the Kempsmith Variable Repeat Rotary Die Cutter for folding cartons.
The Patent Pending Kempsmith Variable Repeat Rotary Cutter (VRRC) allows for the die cutting of folding cartons with wrap around flexible rotary dies without the need for magnetic cylinder bases for each repeat. This quick change cutter is equipped with rotary pin stripping, easily adjusted for waste removal and different blank separator, shingle delivery and stacking options, based on application. The ergonomic folder gluer packing station increases corrugated case packing productivity, reduces the number of packing personnel needed and eliminates operator occupational injuries associated with folder gluer packing. PPCTS installs one more complete IMPACK VIRTUO 500© auto packing systems with an MFA alternating device for automatic bottom cartons and IN2.1 carton turner on an existing Bobst Alpina© folder gluer line . These single lane, single row auto packing systems, equipped with an alternating device and carton turner, can handle from straight line to auto-bottom cartons for direct packing into corrugated cases, inline with folding carton folder gluers. NEW VIRTUO SA "LARGE CARTON" SEMI AUTOMATIC PACKER for folder gluer lines
PPCTS and Impack has recently introduced the new VIRTUO SA "large carton" semi-automatic packer for folding carton gluing lines. This new packing system is specifically designed for large size cartons and allows for the packing of large folded cartons, including 4 and 6 corner boxes, directly into corrugated cases, by one person instead of two, at faster production speeds and no heavy lifting, therefore significantly increasing productivity and reducing injuries. PPCTS and Impack recently installed 2 new high speed stacking systems inline with two new specialized folder gluer line at a southeast based customer.
